The Swift boats are Warming up

If you want to take a look of how the Republican swift Boat group would go after Obama. They are just beginning to warm up their boats.

The following statement was sent to me as part of a news Alert from Newsmax.com : A close boyhood friend of Obama, Zulfin Adi, said Barack "was a Muslim. He went to the mosque."
Obama's first-grade teacher at a Catholic school, Israella Dharmawan, said: "Barry (Barack's nickname) was Muslim. He was registered as a Muslim because his father was Muslim."
In the third grade, Obama transferred to a public school, where he was also registered as a Muslim. At the school, Muslim students attended weekly religion lessons about Islam.
In his autobiography, "Dreams From My Father," Obama mentions studying the Koran and describes the public school as "a Muslim school." I know many on this blog will not like this. You might say I am being to negative. I should be positive. We must face the reality of the situation. We need to know the enemy we are dealing with and how are they going to attack.

Muslims come in all shapes and sizes, some extremist, most not. Muslims, Jews and Christians all worship the same God if you read and believe in the Old Testament. We're all cousins, if not brothers, in God's eyes.

In the same way that an extreme Christian fundamentalist who firebombs abortion clinics isn't representative of the entire Christian faith, nor can you judge an entire religion for the misguided actions of a few.

Barack Obama himself is a member of a Christian church in Illinois. The fact that his father was Muslim certainly should not be held against him.

Smear campaigns are the tactics of those who don't have enough principles to stand on their own merits.

Merely by posting this you're contributing to the rhetoric. One's faith should not be an issue when running for office.

Oh, I'd recommend that you also unsubscribe from that news service because if this is the kind of crap that they're peddling, you shouldn't be buying.

If Republicans want to stoop to these tactics to prove a point, then let them.

Stepping on another Democratic candidate's name (Obama) just to tout the merits of another (Edwards) doesn't serve the purpose.

There is an element of truth in what you say. It was a judgement call to post this so-called crap. If Obama is the nominee the Republican are going to bring all this crap out it is better for Obama to deal WITH THE false allegation now. I guess he could wait to later TO DEAL WITH this CRAP BY THEN IT might be to late.

The Democrats have been down this road before. It is better for Obama to deal with it now than later.
