In recent days Obama is sounding more and more like Edwards using Edwards populists message.
Obama's message has been guided by the prevailing winds of the moment, The only resonable conclusion is that Obama is willing to do anything to get votes, even if he has to compromise his own personal values. It was just a few weeks ago Obama was saying we need to sit down at the table and negotiate with lobbyist, and now he is sounding more and more like Edwards, using the same populist message of Senator Edwards and often using the exact same words of Senator Edwards. Edwards message has been the same from day one of his campaign. This is not the first time that Obama has followed the lead of Edwards. John was the first to go after Hillary in an aggressive manner. This aggressive nature of Edwards gave Obama the courage to to the same.
My question is, does Obama have any core values ? Is he willing to do anything and say anything to get elected ? It seems to me he is taking a page out of Hillary's play book, to get elected at all cost and willing to follow the prevailing winds of the moment and to do and say anything to achieve your goal.
We need a president that is sincere, passionate, trustworthy, smart, and a born leader like John Edwards. Certainly we do not need a follower like Obama.

An Holiday Message from John Edwards
Full Transcript of "Season:
One out of every four homeless people on our streets is a veteran.
Thirty-seven million Americans live in poverty.
Who speaks for them? We do.
This is the season of miracles, of faith and love.
So let us promise together: you will never be forgotten again.
We see you, we hear you, and we will speak for you.
In America, the chance to build a better life is a promise made to each of us, and the obligation to keep it rests with us all.

I am getting Sick and Tired
I am getting sick and tired of hearing people criticize Edwards on having a big house and having money.
Is there something wrong in having money? People fail to realize it is often easier for a person of wealth to do more for the poor. FDR was a man of great means and he was a champion of the poor. Robert Kennedy also had millions, no one ever questioned his dedication of fighting poverty. So what, if John has a big house and he likes to spend money on a fancy hair cut. It is his money to spend. Has he used his money and time to help others? The answer we all know is yes.
ONE BIG DIFFERENCE, EDWARDS WAS BORN POOR. UNLIKE THE ROOSEVELTS AND KENNEDYS, Edwards did not have a winter retreat and he did not attend an Ivy league school. JOHN payed is own way through school. As a young man he actually got his hands dirty.
Many critics of Edwards are just JEALOUS because he is a self made man, Who was taught by his parents the value of hard work and at the same time he was taught to show respect for others. John has never forgotten the people he grew up with. I predict that on January 3 the voters of Iowa won't forget John. Edwards is just one of us that has made good.

Today's quote from John Edwards
We have an epic fight in front of us, and anybody who thinks that's not true is living in a fantasy world ... How long are we going to let insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies run this country? Every time this has happened in our country, the American people have risen up and taken action"

Hillary will say and do anything to get Elected
There she goes again taking credit for her husband's ADMINISTRATION as if she was responsible for the Economic boom in the 90's I will stand corrected if I am wrong, it is my understanding that the former first lady has never held elected office where she would of been in the position to directly effect policy, until she was elected Senator from New York.
I realize HILLARY had her husband's ear as would any spouse have with their partner. She is now taking credit for everything her husband did. Polls are showing that a large portion of her support comes from voters that like Bill not her. IF SHE WOULD WIN she going to win on her husband's coattails. Can anyone name any SIGNIFICANT legislation that she played an important role in passing? She is now claiming she has done more for the poor than John Edwards. I HAVE NEVER HEARD HER SPEAK ABOUT the POOR FROM THE SENATE FLOOR, NOT ONCE.
SHE IS WILLING TO SAY AND DO ANYTHING TO GET ELECTED, WE DO NOT NEED SOMEONE LIKE HER IN OFFICE. DOES POWER MEAN THAT MUCH TO HER?
Those of us that follow the candidates know that John Edwards has a life long commitment in fighting poverty. It is John's signature issue. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/12/19/AR2007121901836.html

Please Remember from John Edwards
John Edwards asks us to remember that one out of every four homeless people on our streets is a veteran and 37 million people in our country live in poverty. He challenges Americans to promise that never again will we forget those without a voice, because “in America, the chance to build a better life is a promise made to each of us, and the obligation to keep it rests with us all."
